A.O.Smith Electrical Products Ltd motors are guaranteed
against defects in manufacture and materials for a period of 12 months from
date of despatch. Goods will be repaired or replaced free of charge within this
period provided they are returned to our works carriage pre-paid, securely packed,
and providing our inspection shows such goods to be defective due to the above
causes.
The liability of A.O.Smith Electrical Products Ltd arising out of
the supply of goods and their use shall not exceed the cost of rectifying
defects within them as noted above. This company shall not be liable for any
costs incurred by its customers in the removal or replacement of defective
motors in their use, neither shall the company be liable in any event for
any other indirect or consequential damages.
The warranty will be invalid in the case of motors that have been subject
to neglect, misuse, misapplication, incorrect connection, have not been properly
packed for return to A.O.Smith Electrical Products Ltd, or have been
altered or repaired in any way outside our premises.
